Check out your all-new Plaxo address book If you've visited Plaxo.com in recent weeks, you've probably noticed a few changes. We've updated our home page and tabs to give faster access to your online address book. We made these changes in response to lots of feedback from our most loyal members. Together, they mark the kickoff of a major effort in 2010 to deliver on the vision of a "truly smart (and socially-aware) address book". Today, we take another step forward with a re-designed online address book that will provide the foundation for our vision. Check It Out Click on the Address Book tab in Plaxo.com, and you'll see a new page focused on giving you the fastest possible access to the info you're looking for on any of your contacts. The new design features find-as-you-type search and delivers major speed improvements . especially for our members with large address books. Of course, the Web-wide activity stream that we pioneered in 2007 under the brand "Pulse" is still prominent (included in our home page and as a tab); we've renamed it simply, "Stream". Future versions of the address book will tap this activity stream to give you a richer view at the moment you're about to contact someone (or they contact you). We hope you like these first few steps -- and the ones that follow in the coming months.
