Re: Hey I made it !!!
Great. Now all you need to do is learn how it works then you can begin
to understand how valuable it is for spreading the word.
The real key is what is known as RSS feeds. The group has an RSS feed as
well as the ability to send emails to group members every time someone
posts.
My blogs on blogger.com can be set up to post automatically by email.
Send one of my blogs and email and the message is immediately posted to
my blog.
So when a message is posted on the google group an email is sent to my
http://jurisdictionaryokc.blogspot.com blog.
The blog has an RSS feed and that feed is automatically sent to my
various pipes at pipes.yahoo.com. That also has an RSS feed which is
automatically sent to twitter, facebook and many other social media
sites. It all works like the root system of a giant tree. The roots soon
spread almost everywhere. Twitter and facebook and many other social
media sites also help spread the word to other social media
Now then, that is a very compressed version of all of the ways that I
use to help spread the word but it will do for starters.
You too can set up your own blog very easily and get the emails form the
group and have them posted to your blog very easily. You can also set up
your own Yahoo pipes or you can clone my pipes and also help spread the
word with very little or no effort. I will be happy to teach you how to
do that and even set it all up for you if need be. Once it is set up it
all works on autopilot. Everything except posting to the egroup. You can
post about your meetings and word will spread automatically all over the
internet. You can use www.twellow.com to help you find new members and
followers in your area. You just need a twitter account to do that. I'm
jurisdictionokc on twitter. You can follow me and I can follow you and
we can follow all other chapter leaders and soon we will have a very
large group of people all following each other and telling the public
about our meetings and what we teach. Easy to do and kind of fun.
Want some help getting set up? Just let me know.
> Here I made it to this group ...... Thanks Bill
